Sandy soil, higher water tables and slab-on-grade construction are just a few of the many contributing factors that are conducive to subterranean, formosan and dry-wood termite infestations. If left undetected, termites can threaten your greatest investment.
While there are significant differences in the biology, habits and routes of introduction for varying termite species, the one commonality is that they are innately skillful at going unnoticed in their endless quest for wood and cellulose-based materials. An infestation may go unnoticed for months or years due to the fact that most damage is done behind walls and because of their discreet feeding habits.
The pros at InnoTech Pest Management, Inc. have you covered with our entomologist-trained inspection techniques, aggressive in-ground around-the-clock subterranean termite monitoring devices and liquid Termidor termiticide options to protect your structure and keep it termite-free for many years to come.
You can rest assured that if termites return, so do we. Our process is simple:

Simply stated, we know that ants don’t belong in your home or business. So, why are they there in the first place? Ants are attracted to most structures because of the presence of moisture. There is plenty of readily available foodstuffs on the exterior of homes and commercial buildings, but ants will often enter homes and businesses during periods of drought or if moisture conditions are present around the exterior of structures. Ants may enter through weep-holes, cracks and crevices, expansion joints of concrete slabs, small penetrations around spigots or pipe chases or broken caulking around windows. Their nests may be subsequently located inside a wall void, behind siding or under over-wintered leaves at the base of exterior plantings. Regardless of whether or not odorous house ants, pavement ants, fire ants or carpenter ants are invading your home or just merely creating a nuisance, you can count on the professional ant control experts at InnoTech Pest to develop a comprehensive ant management program to rid your home or business of these pesky critters. Our ongoing pest control services not only focus on ant removal, but are also designed to prevent nuisance, destructive, and sometimes dangerous ants from returning.

When selecting a company to remedy your bed bug infestation in St. John’s County, Duval County, Flagler County and surrounding areas, it is important that you retain the company based on expertise, methodology, material selection and high-level of confidence that the applicators will perform thorough treatments during the initial and subsequent follow-up visits.
The premise behind disinfectant services is to apply and kill viruses that exist on surfaces at the time of application. There is no known residual capability for any virucidal material. Because our credibility is among our greatest assets, we want to establish transparency in expected outcomes. Thus, our application of broad-spectrum virucides will undoubtedly kill viruses on contact, however, services will need repetition as part of an ongoing virus-reduction program.
Our DSV-applied material is dispersed by trained applicators that protect and defend north-Florida families with an all-in-1 solution which serves as a highly effective and powerful sanitizer and disinfectant against disease-causing bacteria. DSV is also a very powerful virucide, capable of killing the viruses you have read about in today’s headlines, as well as many others that you may not even be aware are talking about. DSV can be used to clean and disinfect any compromised environment, such as a home with moisture damage or situations that involve a pest infestation. DSV is capable of killing Hepatitis, HIV, Influenza and even Staphylococcus. When it comes to sanitation, DSV does it right.
Our team of trained wildlife experts will not only diagnose the species of animal invasion, but also create and implement a game plan to resolve your issue. Our systematic approach entails:
All homes and business structures are unique and inevitably have cracks and crevices, openings around water spigots or pipe chases, gaps around soffits or fascia boards, vents that require screening, underside of siding that requires j-channel, gaps under doors that need sealants or nylon-bristle sweeps, and many other types of minor short-comings. Regardless of whether or not roof rats have chewed openings through your soffit or mice have entered your home through large weep-holes in your brick foundation we identify and fix these openings to permanently resolve your rodent problems!
You can rest assured that we have you covered as our founder, Dr. Richard Kramer earned his BS, MS and Ph.D. in Urban Entomology from the University of Florida—so pests are no match for our expertise. We always guarantee our exclusion work, so if your uninvited house guests return, so do we!

InnoTech Pest provides north-Florida commercial properties with a wide range of disinfection and organic matter removal/remediation services such as drain cleaning. Maintenance to residential, commercial and institutional drains are of paramount importance to mitigate the spread of disease, reduce vector breeding sites and reduce overall filth-fly populations. We routinely provide these services to dialysis centers, health clubs, government installations, restaurants/food-service facilities and other areas where people spend time. Filth flies such as phorid flies, drain flies and their pre-adult stages are considered mechanical vectors. As mechanical vectors, these flies contaminate the surfaces of virtually everything they land on. As a result, they are not only carriers of disease, but they also transporters of disease. Without routine sanitation practices and maintenance, grime and bacteria are transferred every time a fly emerges from these breeding sites and lands on our food, faces or furnishings.
Merely pouring bleach, cleaners or hot water down drains does not aid in these problems. Our staff is prepared with PPE—Personal Protective Equipment and a host of enzymatic agents to physical scrape, brush and remove the decomposing organic matter that is conducive to filth fly breeding and overall pest activity. If your structure or home was invaded by nuisance wildlife such as pigeons or bats, their droppings can create respiratory illness, soil insulation, create ectoparasites—all health hazards and concerns that should only be remedied by trained, certified pest professionals.
For more information on how to eliminate nuisance flies such as drain flies or phorid flies as well as fly breeding sites in St. Johns County, Duval County or Flagler county homes and businesses, click to visit our pest library or video library where Dr. Kramer, our co-founder explains how to control and eliminate filth-fly-related problems.
As a native Floridian, he served in the US Army for 22 years as a medical entomologist. Following his military retirement and immediately following his last assignment to the Armed Forces Pest Management Board, he was hired as the Technical Director of Education and Resources by the National Pest Management Association. In addition to providing forward-thinking pest control services that focus on the judicious use of pesticides, the company provides consulting services, pest identification services, training, technical writing and presentations, quality assurance, etc., to other pest management companies, private and government agencies.
In late 2004, Dr. Kramer teamed up with his son Joshua as they embarked on what would become a long-term commitment to providing residential and commercial customers with unparalleled pest management services and gained the trust of thousands of customers over the years. From 2004 through 2018, Richard assisted Joshua with assembling a team of diversified subject matter experts, developing and implementing routine training strategies and designing impactful and environmentally considerate pest programs for homeowners, commercial clients and government institutions. Together, they took their small family-owned mid-Atlantic business to more than 50 employees and became one of the top 100 revenue producing pest control companies in the U.S. After a successful exit in 2018, Dr. Kramer co-founded InnoTech Pest Management –a forward-thinking pest control company that offers services to homes and businesses in the north-Florida marketplace. With a focus on the judicious use of pesticides, the company provides full-service residential and commercial pest control, consulting services, pest identification services and training.

Dr. Kramer received his BS in Agriculture (1969), MS (1975) in veterinary entomology, and his Ph.D. in urban entomology (1987) from the University of Florida. In fact, Dr. Kramer was the first Ph.D. student of the world-renowned professor Dr. Phil Koehler. He is a member of the Entomological Society of America and a Board Certified Entomologist in Urban and General Entomology. For 14 years, Dr. Kramer co-owned and operated a top-100 revenue-producing company in Maryland, DC and Virginia before returning to his native Florida where he and his business partners Josh Kramer (his son and long-time pest control business partner), James Young and Stephen Kramer to bring his expertise to Floridians.
While Joshua was fascinated with his father’s entomological studies, Joshua attended the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, and upon graduation, he embarked on a seven-year journey in medical sales at Novartis Pharmaceuticals and later at specialized cardiovascular niche-firm Kos Pharmaceuticals. After obtaining considerable world-class sales training, experience early success in cardiovascular/metabolic sales, he was routinely recognized for year-over-year of top-10% sales growth.
Joshua realized, however, that that the opportunity to blend his expertise in business development, team-building, customer relationships and company culture was front-and-center and would complement his father’s strengths of technical expertise, industry educator/thought-leader and integrity. So, in late 2004, they embarked on what would become a long-term commitment to providing residential and commercial customers with unparalleled pest management services and gained the trust of thousands of customers over the years. From 2004 through 2018, Joshua was responsible for assembling a team of diversified subject matter experts, designing impactful and environmentally-considerate pest programs for homeowners, commercial clients and government institutions, took the small family-owned business to more than 50 employees, successfully acquired a small business and became one of the top 100 revenue producing pest control companies in the United States. After a successful exit in late 2018, Joshua turned his sites to his north-Florida roots where he has embarked on a journey to duplicate his earlier industry success. Professionally, Josh is most proud of his past and present opportunities that allowed for the development and cultivation of long-term customer relationships across multiple segments, building a business that is predicated on the principles of integrity, trust and honesty and by creating platforms for employees retention and career development with a relentless focus on customers.
Outside of building a business, Joshua treasures his time with his wife of 17 years—Julia, a public interest attorney, and their two children who love to surf, play ice hockey, dance and dive into art projects.

Both mosquito management suppression options involve a property-wide inspection for mosquito breeding sites and conditions, such: exterior lighting on your home, breeding sites and other conditions that attract mosquitoes. Products are not applied directly to grass, patios, pavers or hardscape.
While we are fortunate that cases of malaria, dengue, West-Nile, Zika and other encephalitic diseases have been kept to a minimum in north-east Florida and the greater United States,
the most important reason to use mosquito suppression-services is to comfortably use your backyard without being attacked by these blood-thirsty insects.
InnoTech Pest offers two types of effective mosquito control options that will ensure that the number of available mosquitoes in your immediate surrounding area will be greatly reduced.
Synthetic Pyrethroid, such as Demand CS (lambda-cyhalothrin) or Suspend Polyzone (deltamethrin).
Natural Organic Option such as, Essentria IC3 manufactured by Envincio contains Rosemary Oil, Geraniol (derivative of rose, palmarosa, and citronella oils), and Peppermint Oil).

With our team of entomologist trained and licensed pest control technicians, InnoTech Pest Management is the ideal choice for ant control for homes and businesses throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Palm Coast and the surrounding coastal areas. Roof rats, Norway rats, the common house mouse, white-footed deer mouse and other rodents may take advantage of unchecked exterior openings surrounding your home or structure. While these animals are merely looking for the necessities to sustain life, establish a new nest to deliver off-spring or escape the elements, they can cause tremendous damage to wires, plumbing and potentially create a fire hazard. However, they’re no match for our team of expert, entomologist-trained technicians that are extremely well-versed in the roles of identification, development of environmentally-considerate and permanent solutions to address your rodent or other pest problems and superb at pairing a preventive pest plan that responds to your needs and meets your budget.
Most companies do not offer exclusion services. However, because our philosophy is rooted with you—our customer in mind— we believe in solving your pest problems for the long-haul; not just maintaining them.
All homes and business structures are unique and inevitably have cracks and crevices, openings around water spigots or pipe chases, gaps around soffits or fascia boards, vents that require screening, underside of siding that requires j-channel, gaps under doors that require sealants or nylon-bristle sweeps, and many other types of minor short-comings. You can rest assured that we have you covered as our founder, Dr. Richard Kramer earned his BS, MS and PhD in Urban Entomology from the University of Florida—so pests are no match for our expertise. Our exclusion work is always guaranteed so if your uninvited house guests return, so do we.
Because most pests originate on the exterior of structures, our Home Shield is designed primarily an exterior-based program. You can have peace of mind that if covered pests return, so do we—at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
