Drain Cleaning & Disinfection Services

InnoTech Pest provides north-Florida commercial properties with a wide range of disinfection and organic matter removal/remediation services such as drain cleaning. Maintenance to residential, commercial and institutional drains are of paramount importance to mitigate the spread of disease, reduce vector breeding sites and reduce overall filth-fly populations. We routinely provide these services to dialysis centers, health clubs, government installations, restaurants/food-service facilities and other areas where people spend time. Filth flies such as phorid flies, drain flies and their pre-adult stages are considered mechanical vectors. As mechanical vectors, these flies contaminate the surfaces of virtually everything they land on. As a result, they are not only carriers of disease, but they also transporters of disease. Dr. Richard D. Kramer, Ph.D.

As a native Floridian, he served in the US Army for 22 years as a medical entomologist. Following his military retirement and immediately following his last assignment to the Armed Forces Pest Management Board, he was hired as the Technical Director of Education and Resources by the National Pest Management Association. In addition to providing forward-thinking pest control services that focus on the judicious use of pesticides, the company provides consulting services, pest identification services, training, technical writing and presentations, quality assurance, etc., to other pest management companies, private and government agencies.

In late 2004, Dr. Kramer teamed up with his son Joshua as they embarked on what would become a long-term commitment to providing residential and commercial customers with unparalleled pest management services and gained the trust of thousands of customers over the years. From 2004 through 2018, Richard assisted Joshua with assembling a team of diversified subject matter experts, developing and implementing routine training strategies and designing impactful and environmentally considerate pest programs for homeowners, commercial clients and government institutions. Dr. Kramer also serves as the contributing Technical Editor and columnist for Pest Control Technology magazine—the leading pest control trade magazine. Dr. Kramer received his BS in Agriculture (1969), MS (1975) in veterinary entomology, and his Ph.D. in urban entomology (1987) from the University of Florida. In fact, Dr. Kramer was the first Ph.D. student of the world-renowned professor Dr. Phil Koehler. He is a member of the Entomological Society of America and a Board Certified Entomologist in Urban and General Entomology. For 14 years, Dr. Kramer co-owned and operated a top-100 revenue-producing company in Maryland, DC and Virginia before returning to his native Florida where he and his business partners Josh Kramer (his son and long-time pest control business partner), James Young and Stephen Kramer to bring his expertise to Floridians.

While Joshua was fascinated with his father’s entomological studies, Joshua attended the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, and upon graduation, he embarked on a seven-year journey in medical sales at Novartis Pharmaceuticals and later at specialized cardiovascular niche-firm Kos Pharmaceuticals. After obtaining considerable world-class sales training, experience early success in cardiovascular/metabolic sales, he was routinely recognized for year-over-year of top-10% sales growth.

Joshua realized, however, that that the opportunity to blend his expertise in business development, team-building, customer relationships and company culture was front-and-center and would complement his father’s strengths of technical expertise, industry educator/thought-leader and integrity. So, in late 2004, they embarked on what would become a long-term commitment to providing residential and commercial customers with unparalleled pest management services and gained the trust of thousands of customers over the years. From 2004 through 2018, Joshua was responsible for assembling a team of diversified subject matter experts, designing impactful and environmentally-considerate pest programs for homeowners, commercial clients and government institutions, took the small family-owned business to more than 50 employees, successfully acquired a small business and became one of the top 100 revenue producing pest control companies in the United States. Mosquito control

Both mosquito management suppression options involve a property-wide inspection for mosquito breeding sites and conditions, such: exterior lighting on your home, breeding sites and other conditions that attract mosquitoes. Products are not applied directly to grass, patios, pavers or hardscape.

While we are fortunate that cases of malaria, dengue, West-Nile, Zika and other encephalitic diseases have been kept to a minimum in north-east Florida and the greater United States,

the most important reason to use mosquito suppression-services is to comfortably use your backyard without being attacked by these blood-thirsty insects.

InnoTech Pest offers two types of effective mosquito control options that will ensure that the number of available mosquitoes in your immediate surrounding area will be greatly reduced.

Synthetic Pyrethroid, such as Demand CS (lambda-cyhalothrin) or Suspend Polyzone (deltamethrin).

These synthetically-engineered products are designed to resist breakdown due to moisture and oxidation and are applied to the underside of low lying vegetation, fence-lines, foliage around shaded areas, low-lying tree canopies, underside of porches and decking, around exterior fixtures of home and many more locations.
Synthetic pyrethroids have the benefit of engineered materials that don’t break down as easily and consequently are applied only “once-per-month” and April-September monthly services start at just $69 per month, and up for .25acre-1/2acre properties.

Natural Organic Option such as, Essentria IC3 manufactured by Envincio contains Rosemary Oil, Geraniol (derivative of rose, palmarosa, and citronella oils), and Peppermint Oil).

For maximum effectiveness, these organics must be applied as frequently as “twice per month.”
The greatest benefit to organics is the application of naturally-occurring botanicals, however, the cost due to the need to apply twice as often is greater as these naturally occurring materials break down over 15 days, and April-September twice-per-month services start at just $138 per month for .25acre-1/2acre parcels.

Because most pests originate on the exterior of structures, our Home Shield is designed primarily an exterior-based program. You can have peace of mind that if covered pests return, so do we—at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Initial and Regular Service:

Perform interior and exterior inspection of home (*Interior inspection performed during Initial Service only and by request/as necessary during Regular Service visits). We are strictly following all CDC guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 prevention—please see our Covid-19 statement.
Document and draw a graph of home (to indicate visible evidence of visible active or past termite infestation) (*Initial Service only).
Install Whitmire Advance in-ground termite monitoring stations (and indicate on graph of home).
Use Webster brush to physically remove spider webbing from lower-level of home, around light fixtures, corners and other areas where webbing is observed.
Treat exterior foundation of home with Termidor non-repellent insecticide for the control of ants and other species of invading pests.
Treat non-food plants, low-lying trees, fence lines, around light fixtures, around doors, underside of decking, low-lying shrubs and other applicable areas with Demand CS for the control of mosquitoes.
Treat plant beds, around mulch beds, shaded areas such as the undersides of porches with Niban or Intice granules for broad-spectrum residual control of invading pests.
Place exterior rodent stations (only if necessary).
